U.S.-Africa Trade Commission announces Ms. Ndeye Seynabou Pouye as new Country Director-Senegal
Atlanta, GA. USA. March 25, 2024: The U.S-Africa Trade Commission is pleased to announce the appointment of Ndeye Seynabou Pouye as the new Country Director for its operations in Senegal. In this role, Seynabou will be responsible for leading the commission's efforts in Senegal to strengthen trade relations between the United States and Senegal, promote economic growth, and facilitate opportunities for bilateral trade.
With a wealth of experience in international trade and economic development, Ndeye Seynabou Pouye is well-equipped to drive the U.S-Africa Trade Commission's mission forward in Senegal. Pouye's proven track record in fostering business partnerships and promoting trade initiatives will be instrumental in advancing the commission's goals of fostering economic prosperity and sustainable development in the region.
Ndeye Seynabou POUYE is a women's rights advocate and social development specialist. Her passion for women's and youth entrepreneurship, her concern to contribute to women's rights and their empowerment led her to set up in 2019 a social project called FAADEV (Active African Women for Development), a virile organization she currently leads. FAADEV supports young girls and women by bringing together their common strengths to support economic growth.
